Bolbitius coprophilus is described as having a yellowish stipe.

“Stipe central, 2.4–20.4 cm long, 0.4–0.7 cm broad, tubular, with slightly swollen base, hollow, surface pale yellow (4A3), unchanging, pruinose–fibrillose, delicate, shiny, silky, some carpophores with white basal mycelium; annulus absent.”
