Observation 177459: Boletus miniato-olivaceus Frost.

When: 2014-09-03

Collection location: Allegany State Park, Cold Spring, Cattaraugus Co., New York, USA [Click for map]

Who: Garrett Taylor (cappy)

No specimen available

Bluing like Bicolor slow and staining brownish slowly afterward. Only one fruiting so I didn’t see any brown caps. Brown with slight yellow or possibly olivacious spore print. I don’t really recall the spores but they looked consistant at 600X though not very rough. Pores angular and irregular and fairly largeish.
