Fungi were growing right next to an oak tree in a shaded area. Only grass surrounded the fungi.
Spore print was a creamy white color, and the spores were round in shape. They ranged from 4.2 – 8.0 micrometers in diameter.
Very smooth and tough stipe and pileus.
Inside of stipe and pileus were both orange and solid.
Gills were decurrent, going down some of the stipe.
Citrusy smell came off of the fungus.
