No herbarium specimen

Notes: Pinkish red capped(with tinges of gray on margin) fruit bodies found beneath Douglas fir, red alder and Western red cedar.

Stems staining yellow(slightly).

Odor: polypore-esque, similar to drying paint and fungus.

Elevation: 2700ft.

Temp: low 70’s.
