No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing close to perennial spring and aspen grove at around 7600ft. With Ribes and Artemesia in sandy/gravelly soil. Spore case ~4 cm wide, ~2 cm tall. Stalk ~8 cm tall.

Been wanting to see this ever since I saw it in a box at the Bolivian National Herbarium, collected on an island in the Salar de Uyuni.
