This was growing on a standing dead oak tree.


It looks like there is a Ganoderma applanatum growing directly below the Ganoderma annulare.
As you can see in this image the G. annular was definitely conk-blocked by the G. applanatum.
This bottom is actually the pore surface of the Ganoderma applanatum that is growing directly below the Ganoderma annulare.
