It looks like the partial veil…

was being pulled up into the “inverted funnel” annulus seen on velatipes, except it ripped apart. Unexpanded cap shape and color look like velatipes, and the marginate volva fits. I can’t make out any striations on the cap margin, but it is often the case that young velatipes has tightly arranged striations that are difficult to see.
