Notes: on Ilex opaca

thin crust greenish in places an yellowish in others, UV+y in yellowish places, K+y-r (no crystals seen even after several minutes), lirellae stellate-branched entire erumpent, disc very exposed and slightly pruinose, exciple carbonized all around and into substrate a bit, algae trentepohlia, paraphyses not ornamented but with some brown granules near tips, hymenium finely and densely inspersed clearing in K, spores 8 per ascus hyaline to finally gray oblong ~macrocephalic 3-septate ~15×5um I+ ~purplish K/I+ ~brownish at most, ascus with thickened tip K/I- entirely but with K/I+ golden insides, no algae near lirellae
