Notes: on sandstone

near base of upper waterfall

tiny pale green globose granules which break down into powdery pale green soredia, algae ~5um wide green, apothecia black marginless globose scattered tiny, hypothecium red-brown turning distinctly violet in K, asci with thick walls and tip when young becoming thinner walled with K/I+ tip and K/I pale walls, spores 8 per ascus mostly 1-septate smooth hyaline narrowly ellipsoid ~6-10×3um
