Notes: on sheltered side at base of big old leaning Quercus montana

old open oak-maple forest on west-sloping side-ridge

crust thin white continuous, algae trentepohlia, apothecia lirellate unbranched 2-3 times longer than wide wiggly ~sessile, exciple fully carbonized, disk open strongly yellow-green pruinose UV+o 350nm, epihymenium dark orange POL+ faint clearing in K but not changing color, hymenium clear, asci broadly clavate with thickened tips, spores 8 per ascus 5-septate walls evenly thickened interior yellowish/greenish in water but clearing in K and becoming thinner-walled ~25×10um
