old open oak-maple forest on west-sloping side-ridge

minute pins ~0.3mm tall by 0.05mm thick, epruinose black, asci persistent cylindrical, spores 8 per ascus uniseriate ~4-5×1.5-2um pale brownish with distinct “normal” (dark?) septum, all tissues brown and K-, Stichococcus present
