old open oak-maple forest on west-sloping side-ridge

thin patchy whitish thallus P+o/r strong, apothecia small emarginate convex, epihymenium dark brown, exciple indistinct, hypothecium brown K~y, hymenium ~70um clear, spores 8 per ascus briefly with thick septum and uniformly thick walls ~17-25×8-12um
