on base of big olf Liriodendron tulipifera

~50 year old mixed hardwood forest

thin whitish stain on bark, perithecia semi-immersed ~pruinose, paraphyses and periphyses both appear to be present, algae lacking, hymenium clear I- or golden-brownish, spores 4+ per ascus ~11-13×7-8um hyaline submuriform with ~4 trans. septae and ~1 long. septum
