Ron, I’m always glad when people ask for clarification on a specific collection.

Thanks very much for doing so.

Very best,

Rod

The sample sent in 2014 did not yield DNA for some reason.

A second sample was sent out in 2016. It was in the batch from which we are currently getting sequences. I am hoping that we get data in one of the next few data shipments.

Very best,

Rod

I was wondering if this one was ever confirmed to be A. texasorora http://mushroomobserver.org/168062 ?

Just got the DNA for this one in a recent shipment of data.

Thanks so much for this collection and the images. One of the palest sets of material for this species. There’s a very significant range of pigment saturation in this taxon.

Very best,

Rod

This material has been received and accessioned to Rod’s herbarium. We have scheduled it for DNA sequencing.
