Glad that it was such a good season there this year. I would’ve been there if I could’ve. That is one of my fave forays: small, great lodging, great food, great hunting habitat for great fungi and great people! What’s not to like?

The other more club-shaped. There was some debate there whether we had C. truncatus, C. americanus, or C. pistillaris. Others I found later were more rounded, and some said pistillaris “isn’t an American species”. I get rather tired of that one. ;)
