Notes:
Velvet soft specimen fruiting over a small creek. Tree looks to be a fallen Western hemlock or Doug fir.
Wavy cap margin, not exuding juice where handled as with Ischnoderma resinaceum.

Odor: pleasant, polypore odor.

Elevation: 3000ft.

Temp: low 60’s.
