Notes: Single fruiting beneath Douglas fir, red alder and Western red cedar.

Odor: pleasant.

Taste: bitter.

Not tinged with lilac, green or any dark pigment as with S. scabrosus.

Elevation: 2700ft.

Temp: low 60’s.
