Collection location: Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming, USA [Click for map]
Who: Connie (ImBooToo)
Found many Ramaria Fr. ex Bonord. (coral mushroom) growing in the Bighorn Mountains in July and August, 2014 at high elevation. They were growing on ground, beneath canopy of a conifer forest.
These smell like cauliflower to me – not at all unpleasant.
