Observation 179642: Leucocoprinus castroi Blanco-Dios
When: 2014-09-20
Collection location: Braga, Portugal [Click for map]
No herbarium specimen

Notes: On conifer litter. All exterior bright yellow, cap with yellow mica like granules, inner center yellow, gills greyish white (looks like fine paper). Looks like a Parasola, but the mica-like granules exclude it.

If this was fruiting outside then Leucocoprinus castroi (described from coastal pine forest not far from you, up in Galicia) is a likely candidate. There are several taxa in this group around Leucocoprinus fragilissimus.
