Notes: Cap: 2-8cm, gently convex up to flat with inrolled wavy margin, old one often sunken; color is bright yellow or orange-yellow up to dull yellow. Cap surface is smooth and sometimes some wavy; flesh is thick and yellowish-white. Gills are attached and descending stalk, narrow and thick-edged; forked and rare cross-veined; color from yellow up to dull yellow. Stalk: 2-6cm long, usually enlarged up to a cap; light yellow up to yellow; 0.5-2cm thick. Edibility: good and tasty.
Habitat: small group minor big clusters scattered in pine-tree forest; sometimes under birches in the same forest.
Season: June – August.
