Notes: An entire tree was coated with this, up and down the crevices. Not like a rosette, but stack on top of each other like plates. There is a distinct purple that does not show up in the photos.

long verticle craters in the bark, but the branches were all gone . . . if I remember correctly. I think it was some type of oak. If I get back there, I will take a pic.
