Based on chemical features: I’m being picky: there are three chemotypes, P. perforatum, P. preperforatum and P. subrigidum. The last is strongly UV+ white (medulla) but the other two are impossible? to distinguish without TLC. I want to start using this “group” name on MO… at least until the experts lump them all back together into one species. :)
