Observation 179946: Amanita sect. Vaginatae sensu Zhu L. Yang
When: 2014-09-23

Notes: On ground under birch and balsam fir. Cap 3 cm., pale orange—possibly washed out by yesterday’s rain. Volval sack staining rusty brown when exposed. Thought this might be A. pseudocrocea but the stem seems too smooth and pale?
