i will return there next year, i found some yellowish though misshaped structure at the immediate vicinity, but i didn’t took attention to it (to be fair my knowledge of dune fungus is basicaly none.)

Really need to see the base. Also need to see the freshly cut peridium (outer shell of the sporocarp).
