Velvet, hirsute cap in mature specimens. Lactating small red droplets of fluid on cap of all specimens.
Wavy, undulating cap growth. Fruitbodies soft, pliable. Not hard and smooth like F.pinicola.
Not hard or varnished on cap-as with Ganoderma.
Large: 12-15cm wide for large specimens.
Temp: mid 40’s.
