Observation 180641: Stropharia hornemannii (Fr.) S. Lundell & Nannf.

Notes: Fruiting beneath large Douglas fir and Western hemlock.

Elevation: 4500ft.

Temp: 40’s.

Looking exactly like very large Stropharia ambigua- but with a bluish/pinkish hue to caps, somewhat translucent. Gills deep purple brown.
