No worries, I trust that both species are in there. I just want to see these photos come up high on the stack for C. flavovirescens! :)

I collected number of pebbles with Caloplaca on them – not all pictured here of course. My bad :-(

for this observation? If Jim said both were present, let’s go with the other. I’m having trouble actually finding any C. citrina in these photos! :)

(But they’re lovely photos of the fertile species!)

The former is sorediate, and the latter is esorediate. The only reason I included these common species here is that I like how they create “ocellii” on pebbles.
