White spore print.

Looks somewhat like Tricholoma saponaceum, but without any noticeable odor or pink stain on stipe bases. Also considered Tephrocybe and Lyophyllum.

Note the fairly thick forked gills.

Interstate 80 rest area west of Stroudsburg. Lawn near wood border.

Specimens accidentally discarded at conclusion of “Mushroom Fair.” No micro.
