Extremely large(and unfortunately too waterlogged and mature to keep) Porcini- fruiting beneath young Mountain hemlock and Douglas fir. First image is showing the deep reticulation of upper B. edulis stems as they mature and elongate.
Some stems were salvageable for dehydrating.
Note: red tones on cap margin and bottom of pore surface where spores have been released.
