is the name I would use at a foray but it’s not that either. It may someday have the name Lactarius pessimus. It is a morphological puzzle as current DNA work indicates that it is the same as the blue fleshed Lactarius chelidonium.
deterrimus? In my experience with what I believe to be this type, specimens with cap almost entirely pale greenish are common.
