There are at least five eastern North American taxa with cap yellowing in KOH.

And there is at least one other in western North America.

The number of KOH positive taxa is uncertain and may grow a bit further.

Microscopy is unavoidable now for bisporigera, which (in the current state of knowledge) is still (or again, if you prefer) the only species with rather plentiful 2-spored basidia.

We’re in a process of re-establishing species concepts for the white “destroying angels” of North America.

Mexican material would be very useful for that purpose.

Very best,

Rod Tulloss
