Small caps appx. 1cm across, cluster growing from what appeared to be buried piece of wood (possibly pine or oak) in sandy soil. Flexible but fibrous/woody texture and finely hairy cap lead me to think this might be a polypore related to the Lentinus or Panus genera. I was unable to get a photo of the underside.
