Notes: > Two specimens growing about 10 feet from each other and just a few yards away from the pale amanitas of obs 181603. This spot yielded a similar-looking amanita of obs 151169.
> The mature basidiome had a cap of 6.7 cm in diameter and a stipe of 10 cm in length.
> The striated cap margin of the younger basidiome lacks the brown pigment of cap and appears white in the pictures.
> Preliminary microscopic workup revealed ellipsoid to elongate spores. Spore measurements and pix will be posted later.
> This material is preserved for RET.
