Large numbers, no white at cap edge

These occurred in large numbers in several locations. I often saw them in needle duff which had some moss. They were collected about 10:30 am, 3 October. The photo was taken 14:19, 4 October. At that point the caps still did not have white or fading at the edges, as described by Trudell & Ammirati, Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest (Timber Press 2009). So I favor Mycena strobilinoidea.
