piceina is a Peck name, based upon a New York State collection, so it is in eastern North America.

Whether piceina is in western N. America I don’t know?

The taxonomy of this group (Phellinus pini s.l.) is unsettled.
In naming your collection, I suggest following Gilbertson & Ryvarden (1987) and use the name Porodaedalea chrysoloma.

Seems more likely, given the host and location. Porodaedalea chrysoloma sensu stricto. probably does not occur in North America.
