No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found under conifers, often in clusters of 3-7 specimens growing in same clump.


In situ. Needles are of White pine. Kinnikinick also present.
Hymenium is creamy (white and yellow) with some brown also included.
Fairly large scales. Could be G. bonari.
Base of stipe showing clustered growth habitat, often staining or bruising yellow-black.
