white form

amanitas I find only in two places Both places are conifers nursery’s one about 20-year-old white pine the other is 10-year-old white pine mixed with Staghorn Sumac all my other yellow or red muscaria were found in ordinary forests

I’m curious if you find the white form near the colored forms? Is there any difference in host, habitat or location between the two forms that you are aware of? The white form seems to be somewhat geographically prominent in the great lakes region, although I think Dr. Tulloss has one collection from Idaho and a couple from Alaska on his website. http://www.amanitaceae.org/?Amanita+chrysoblema Thanks.
