Notes: Apparently mycorrhizal with encroaching aspen (Populus tremuloides) or maybe the small willows around (Salix bebbiana); fairly common in this prairie but did not see in others (others also did not have aspen encroachment)
Other woody possible associates on site: stiff dogwood (Cornus foemina) and single large oak (Quercus rubra?)
