I just finished a prelim test with a 1/4 mushroom, 1 mushroom then 6 in about three days. Didn’t notice any problems. Tasted good with salt. EVO, well browned. Garlic.

Has anyone tried these?

According to Arora and others caution is advised not only because it can be confused with Amanita but also because some people seem to have an adverse reaction to this species. Arora speculates that this may be caused by variaties that yellow and/or have a bad odor.
