Notes: Tricholoma, older specimen. Gills have started to turn brown to yellow-brown.

Used references: Arora, Mushrooms Demystified. Smallish mushroom, with short very thick stipe, only about 2.3-3 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide across the cap. Gills are white becoming rusty-yellow or -reddish in age, which seems to match Arora’s description of T. zelleri.
