On ground in mixed woods. Cap pinkish buff with reddish cracked disc. Whitish adnate gills. Whitish stem flushed red in the center, bruising brown, tapered base. Unpleasant odor. Brittle white flesh in cap. White stem flesh browning where eaten by bugs. Whitish spore deposit.
