Found under CA bay, no oaks near by. Found in the bottom of a valley/arroyo/cut, where it is dark, and all CA bay, the live oaks don’t seem to like these dark bottoms.

Grey cap with slight olive brown, deep grey gills, off-white stipe. Viscid cap, non-viscid cap, non-bulbose base. Context and gills non-reactive to KOH, Cap surface stains green in KOH.
