Notes: Fruiting in needle litter and sand beneath Pinus contorta and spruce trees. Covered initially by 2 feet of dune grasses.
Elevation: Sea level, Hyper-maritime environment on the edge of Westport beach, where the dunes meet the forest.
Temp: low 60’s.
Gills somewhat pinkish initially.
Spore print: purple brown.
