Notes: Warts removing easily from cap, universal veil remnants white, annulus when persisting skirt like, volva not sac like and not quite collar like. No rings on stipe.

Amanita breckonii has two distinct rings on the stem.

These are the partial veil and a piece of the universal veil with a wedge-shaped cross-section (narrow part of wedge pointing up) that Breckon originally took to be a send partial veil low on the stem. These are the major, available, macromorphological characters for the species.
