Observation 184837: Irpicodon pendulus (Alb. & Schwein.) Pouzar

In 1998 a collection of Irpicodon pendulus was identified by Dr. Jim Ginns from a foray in Metaline Falls. To his knowledge it was the first collection of it from North America. Currently I have found no references to other collections from North America. This collection was identified by Dr. Otto Miettenen of the University of Helsinki.

Fruiting on Pinus contorta.
