Notes:
In grass near rotting log in damp pasture; CAP 1-2 cm, not viscid, hygrophanous, fading to tan when dry; GILL tan, nearly free; STIPE white mycelia conspicuous at base; SPORES rusty brown (seen at 20x on gills).

Except for a few species in either genus, I find Conocybe and Galerina fairly difficult to separate macroscopically.
