in dry weather feature shiny/dry caps. But, I hope to see some yellow on otherwise white gills for portentosum. Also, I have seen collections with a faint purplish sheen on the cap. Otherwise, my portentosum concept is for cap surface gray without the olive/yellow tones.

I agree. The yellow fits but the dry cap lacking debris does not.
