Might even be a name for this specimen since there are so few species out east.

There’s a fine line between sandstone and quartzite, maybe this is some intermediate that is harder than normal sandstone but not fully metamorphosed into quartzite?

it’s the latter that is the subject of this compilation. The substrate is supposed to be a sandstone, but unusual pink hue resembles quartzite more than sandstone.
