color of the stipe is pinkish.

in one part of my woods and a small part of turkey point..this types of colored Russula’s are growing in the hundreds. Most of them have fishy smell with yellow- orange spore print

I waited for Dave or Walter to post similar Russula’s for comparison, because they are closest to P. Dover.

But i do not see anyone else posting similar russula’s

The stipe

seems to form a sky-blue ring near the base. The general color of the stipe is slightly brownish, at least to me. May be a sp. novum, Eva.
