Growing in mixed woodland bat coniferous dominating
Taste-mild
Odor-like watermelon or polyporus squamosus.

The gray cap color is a strong indication to me that this may not be Tricholoma magnivelare.

Is that a characteristic you have found in your area? Is it common there?
